Introductory Profile: About Michelle Richardson

I interviewed Michelle Richardson who worked in the field of tourism in Guatemala. She has a bachelors degree in wildlife and fishery sciences and a masters degree in geography. She was in the peace corps from 2003 to 2006 and was assigned environmental education in tourism. The Peace Corps help other countries with social and economic development.

I interviewed her specifically on women’s rights and inequalities in Guatemala and what she did in the peace corps. Additionally Michelle talked a bit about how there was also racial discrimination between different ethnic groups in Guatemala.
