Introductory Profile: About Gretchen Bueide

The interviewees name is Gretchen Bueide. When recording this interview my angle was to really dig deep into how she has dealt with social injustice and to also show the students of kealing middle school what young LGBTQ+ youth go through so they can be more understanding. This includes going back into her middle school days and seeing how she internally dealt with it.

While never meeting face to face with the interviewee, From pictures i've learned she has glasses and a very gender neutral wardrobe. She is very cheerful and just by the way she talks you can tell she has a smile on her face. Gretchen was born in 1963 in Minneapolis and is Married to a wife whom is 8 years younger than her. She has no children, she says, although they have many pets.

the tone of the interview is very light yet very supportive and re-assuring. Her voice manner is calm and very kind, this of course may be due to the fact she is indeed a therapist. The interview discusses Social Injustice in a lighter friendlier manner suitable for many, except for the homophonic of course.

I enjoyed the interview while I was nervous for most of the time. Once again the angle of this interveiw is to really dig deep into how she has dealt with social injustice. However I also want to show the students of kealing middle school what young LGBTQ+ youth go through so they can be more understanding.
