Introductory Profile: About Efrain De La Fuente

Mr. Efrain De La Fuente J.D. is one of my family's closest friends and neighbors. When we moved into our home, we were looking for somebody we could rely on, someone who we felt was trustworthy. As time passed on, we soon developed a lifelong friendship with Mr. Efrain’s family.

Mr. Efrain is of Hispanic descent and has brown eyes and black hair. Born a California native, he moved to Texas in 1974, where he was met with great challenges, but ultimately found an inspiration in law. As of today, he continues that profession as the Assistant District Attorney for Travis County. Throughout the time I have known him, he has always come across as an intelligent and responsible man. In the interview, he stated that he believes that his best quality is “disciplining himself.”

In this portion of the interview, I asked him about his inspiration to become a lawyer, and if he encountered any discrimination in the court. During that section, I the overall mood of the interview was distressing . Overall, I believe that this was a very successful interview, and I hope that in the future, discrimination will be put to the end.
