Introductory Profile: About Aurora Flores-Wolsky

I interviewed Aurora Flores-Wolsky on education and how it has shaped her life. The interview was great and there were many insightful things that she said.

I met Aurora Flores-Wolsky when I was in sixth grade. She was my Spanish 1A teacher. Aurora has black hair, brown eyes, she always dresses formally. She was born in California. She was poor, but she worked hard in school, and got a scholarship to private high school Phillips Academy. From there she went to Stanford, and Harvard and now is a teacher at Kealing. She came a really long way in life.

We covered her family history, her journey and challenges in school and that she persevered and achieved so much. We talked about challenges for her brother that went to Phillips Academy. At first, it was a bit tense, but then it became more relaxed and fun, and she told me a lot about her! She has been teaching at Kealing for over 20 years now.
