Introductory Profile: About Jackie Ramsey

Jackie Ramsey was born in the year 1955 of October 30th, which means that she lived through the Vietnam War. Her father, Jack Jones was a Senior Master Sergeant in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and lead the Flight Line on the base. Because of his role in the Air Force, that lead him to be gone for long portions of time when Jackie Ramsey was a child. Being a military family in these hard times lead to experiences many kids in this day and age would never understand. Especially in a war that many did not support, there was lots of backlash and arguments made that Jackie had to navigate around. Another struggle was the many moments in Jackie’s childhood that Jack never got the chance to see. This includes plays or school projects that Jackie was proud of. Then the struggle of living in a house and making enough money to live in a house or apartment was a hassle.
