Introductory Profile: About James Crowley

James Crowley enlisted into the Air Force right before the Vietnam War. He started off in basic training where he learned how to march, salute, and many more things. After completing basic training, he went to Mississippi to learn how speak Vietnamese in order to be a translator. But unfortunately his training was cut short because he was needed in Vietnam as a communications expert.

His job during the war was to relay messages to the United States soldiers on the ground and in other bases. The way he would do this is with three different cables traveling all over Vietnam. Then after 9 years, 7 months, and 21 days, he retired from the Air Force, but before he was retired he given three ribbons of service. He is currently an engineer who designs airplanes for commercial use.
