Christina S.: In Her Own Words

So, my name is Christina, 37, occupation sales. I network a lot within the community. Good to know and I have to work with a lot of seniors, a lot of people. Yeah, a lot of volunteer work. Yeah, just trying to do my best to have deep meaning and good purpose.
Right now, my opinion on the healthcare system is it has a lot of flaws and a lot of people are suffering from huge health care costs and a lot of times when people get sick, they have to pay a lot of money and they go broke.

I would prefer to change to universal healthcare. Universal healthcare is a great way for everyone to have healthcare in our community without having to worry about where to find the funds, everyone gets equal share. It should be a basic human right.
Great question, it’s an argument. I don’t think it’s a valid argument for the entire mass quantity of people that will need it when they need it. And I think it’s- yeah, you can’t put a price on someone’s life.
The stuff that we have right now isn’t cutting it, so something has to shift. Any direction where we’re helping people as a unity, and as a whole, is the right direction. And that’s all we can do is keep making little steps in the right direction.
