Duke Ngo

As Interviewed by Nithin Richard, April 3, 2011
"When you would play in the street, you would see lots of soldiers and tanks and a lot of people exchanging money."
Duke Ngo

Introductory Profile: Duke Ngo

The events that stood out the most during this interview was the journey, as this was the main part of it and was a long process for Duke.

During the interview, Duke was very calm and relaxed as he enjoys the outcome of the move even through his trip. He never really got nervous or anything as this was a long time ago; though he covered good and bad memories, the tone of the interview was still nice.

Duke Ngo was born in Vietnam and he moved to the U.S. at the age of 8 after a long journey. He is now an engineer and has a family of his own in the U.S.

The interview feeling was a bit nervous for me as it was the first time I have ever had one, but after about five minutes I relaxed. Our voices were both calm and nice and our behavior was well to.

This interview was fairly easy, and afterwards, we ate dinner with him and enjoyed some authentic Vietnamese food which was fun and gave us a taste of their culture.
