Introductory Profile: About Sarah Buttrey

Dr. Sarah Buttrey is a local family medicine physician. She is also my neighbor and a good family friend. Though she is a doctor and works at the Episcopal clinic and community center, El Buen Samaritano, Sarah also has a degree in English and Translation from Brown University. She has used this experience and knowledge during her job at her primarily Spanish-speaking clinic, and writing and editing parts of the book Where There Is No Doctor, which you will hear more about in the interview. Sarah is someone who is passionate about providing good quality healthcare to any and all people. She believes that healthcare is a human right that all people deserve.
